Those who are interested in the study of physiology may want to consider studying Ilchi Lee's teachings on health, as they can provide a gateway into the understanding of human well being. Schools are also beginning to increase their offerings in the physiology focus, which could give prospective students more options.
Loyola University Chicago's Strich School of Medicine announced it would be offering a new master's degree in physiology in order to help the students who are interested in entering into the medical field in any form of capacity.
"Physiology is the basis of medicine," said Stephen L. Lipsius, professor of physiology, and director of the program. "By enhancing students' understanding of medical physiology, this program will provide graduates an excellent opportunity to enhance their academic credentials for admission to future medical training programs, such as medical and dental school or a physician assistant, physical therapy or perfusionist program."
As the healthcare field is expected to provide a number of job opportunities, this kind of degree program could serve as a stepping stone into the sector.
