Humanity Conference: The Declaration of Humanity
Fourth Step World-renowned scholars, thinkers and social activists gathered together in Seoul, Korea in June of 2001 to explore the concrete influence that spirituality can have on political, economic and cultural makeup. Ilchi Lee, Xeale Donald Walsch, Seymour Topping, Maurice Strong, Jean Houston and Al Gore were among the distinguished guests.
The primary result of the conference was adoption of an historic Declaration of Humanity, a brief document that states the intention of Earth-Humans to establish a peaceful world community. The declaration was officially adopted by distinguished guests, conference participants, and more than twelve thousand other enthusiastic Earth-Humans. To date, more than one hundred thousand people have signed this declaration.
Declare that I am a spiritual being, an essential and eternal part of the Soul of Humanity, one and indivisible. 2.1 declare that I am a human being, whose rights and security ultimately depend on assuring the human rights of all people of Earth. 3.1 declare that I am a child of the earth, with the will and awareness to work for goals that benefit the entire community of earth on Earth. 4.1 declare that I am healer, with the power and purpose to heal the many forms of divisions and conflicts that exist on Earth. 5.1 declare that I am a protector, with the knowledge and responsibility to help Earth recover her natural harmony and beauty. 6.1 declare that I am an activist in service to the world, with the commitment and the ability to make a positive difference in my society.
