Ilchi Lee as a Role Model

Today I took a flight across the U.S. Out in public I face certain situations, from interacting with service personnel to children. I found myself wondering how Ilchi Lee would handle these situations. I imagined his smile, lightness, joy, love and peace. It put me more in tune with the situations, the people in them, and with my soul.

PEACE IS SUCH A FAMILIAR WORD

Peace is such a familiar word to us not because we have enjoyed it fro a long time but because we have had a deep unfulfilled longing for it since the beginning of human history.  We have been used to the idea of peace through its absence not through its presence.

Peace is ultimately a human issue.  Before our social and political systems can change, human beings must change - not one or two persons, but enough people must change for it to have a culturallyy significant and socially lasting impact on the direction of the universal human experience in the future.  Peace is a matter of application, rather than theory.  One must not be mistaken into thinking that he or she is contributing constructively to peace on earth just because one is thinking, speaking, and even lecturing about peace.  Peace is not something that can be realized through words and thoughts only.  Peace can only be realized through concrete and sustained cultural and societal efforts at healing the body, mind, and spririt or yourself, your neighbors, your society, and humanity at large.  This is what ” Peaceology” seeks to achieve.

Peaceology  is a system of philosophy that is centered on not one specific religion, nation, or cultural tradition - Peaceology is centered on the earth herself.  Peace that places the Earth at its center, not any particular nation or religion - Peace that acts instead of just talks and thinks -only such peace can truly bring about health for humanity and restore beauty to the EARTH.

I love this writing I just want to share it with everyone on EARTH…FOR PEACE ON EARTH….

Ilchi Lee and Meditation

Ilchi Lee is a strong advocate of meditation, for at least 30 minutes a day. The physical preparation and proper posture are important. The challenge to keep the body in a meditation position makes us more aware of our senses and that we what we sense is not reality. Positive images for the mind, such as the candle, are important. Finally, one experiences at the spiritual level, feeling joy, love, dignity, beauty, connection, oneness or other deep feelings.

Basic Rules of Peaceology

Peace is the healthy and harmonious order of life.  The nucleus of the order consists of two factors:  An unchangeable central point and a set of rules that governs movement around the center.  Only when all the various parts of a system agree upon a center and move according to a certain set of rules, is total and comprehensive order possible.  For this  to happen, this center must be a point on which all elements of the system agree.  It must have unanimous appeal and universal meaning of greater importance that the differences inevitable to any system.  Furthermore, the rules that govern the separate elements of the system must be fair and consistent and must be essential to the co-existence and co-operation of the system.  Only then will all the different elements of a system accept the rules willingly and co-create a healthy and harmonious order that will, in turn, benefit all elements of the system.

The three basic rules needed for creation of a system of harmonious order are as follows:  Revolution vs. Rotation, Centripetal vs. Centrifugal Force, and Fairness vs. Equality.  These three “rules” provide not only the principle underpinings of a harmonious order but also strength to maintain it.  In short, these are rules for peace.  The reason the human body works so well, is that the body operates according to these rules.
